Apple said on Thursday that next week will be big for the Mac. We expect new M4 Macs to be released, but we're not quite sure which models will be upgraded. A number of people were invited to LA for a hands-on experience, but we'll have to wait for more details. Apple executives are disputing the fact they are behind in AI, which seems silly considering how far they are behind in AI. Apple released the next beta of iOS which includes Genmoji and ChatGPT integration.

Dave and I talk about his new Apple Watch Series 10 and specifically how he charges the device. With the new version, Apple Watch seems to have changed the recognition of some stands on the market. Apple released a new iPad mini 7, so we take a look at its features and what we like. A new trailer of "Submerged" was released for the Vision Pro this week.

Who knew that Dave was an actual pinball wizard? Maybe not the one The Who wrote the song about, but who knows! Apple is dealing with what could be the worst product leak since the iPhone 4 when that device was found in a bar. There appears to be two M4 MacBook Pros that Russian Youtubers got their hands on. There are a bunch of new products rumored to be released over the next few months—Dave and I take a look at what's coming.

The iPhone 16 is set to be available on September 20. Many people put in their preorders, but less than an hour after they started, shipping times were already pushed back to October. Early tests on iPhone 16 battery life are encouraging, and all of the new Apple OSes have been officially released. Of course, one of the big features that everyone is waiting for is Apple Intelligence, but it didn't arrive yet, but there is a schedule that shows the supposed times for its arrival.

Apple had its annual iPhone event this week and released a lot of new products. Dave and I talk about the new iPhone 16, Apple Intelligence, Airpods, and the new Apple Watch. Perhaps some of the greatest features of the event were in the health category. Using the Apple Watch, Apple unveiled the ability to detect Sleep Apnea, in addition to other features.

I found a couple of bugs in Apple's tvOS that have been very annoying over the last few months. They seem to have started after Apple introduced a new menu system in the software in the last version. Apple announced the date for its latest event where the iPhone 16 is expected to be introduced and based on the information we currently have, Dave and I look at the major differences between the iPhone 15 and iPhone 16.

There are rumors of a new M4 Mac mini in Apple's future, which makes sense—this wouldn't be the first time Apple has used the Mac mini to lead off its Mac upgrade cycle. Users of Patreon are up in arms over Apple's requirement for the company to move to its in-app purchasing system or risk being removed from the App Store. I have an update on my quest for a good cup of coffee.

Apple recently reported its third quarter financial results, so Dave and I take a look at the numbers to see what was good and bad about sales. I'm going to buy a new Mac soon but I'm not quite sure what I want just yet. Has Apple Intelligence lived up to the hype? We take a look at what's been promised and what's been released. I got a new coffeemaker last week—I could have gone a bit overboard with what I needed.

Apple is expecting big iPhone 16 sales, at least based on the number of chips its ordering for the upcoming device. Dave has some questions about the new iPhone that will determine which one he buys. Apple is getting an OpenAI Board Observer Role as part of its deal with OpenAI and Netflix is phasing out its cheapest ad-free plan.

Apple rolled out its AI strategy at WWDC this month. Dave and I take a look at that, as well as, a look at what Siri will be able to do, and what it won't do at launch. There are rumors of a new M4 MacBook Pro, which makes sense since Apple just released an iPad with the same chip. The requirements for Apple's new AI strategy calls for an iPhone 15 Pro, which leaves a lot of older iPhone users out in the cold.

Justin Long is in the news again, this time doing commercials for Qualcomm. Apple is still in the news for uts rumored AI releases at WWDC, but this time it's for a partnership with Sam Altman and OpenAI to make Apple's AI actually work. Netflix is ending support for older Apple TVs, so if you have one of those devices, it may be time to upgrade.

Amazon is planning an overhaul for its personal assistant, Alexa. As part of the AI changes, rumors suggest the company is also going to charge users to get the new version to help offset the cost of development. Microsoft has said that its newest PCs are beating Apple's MacBook Air in performance and battery life benchmarks.

Apple announced an event for May 7, 2024, which is widely expected to showcase new iPads ahead of the companies Worldwide Developers Conference in June. At the event, or perhaps in the next version of iPadOS, the company is expected to unveil a calculator app for the device for the first time. A wave of Apple ID password resets have plagued users, including me, over the past week or so.

It is a big week for women's basketball as college star Caitlin Clark went No. 1 in the WNBA draft. As incredible as her college career was, some fans are outraged at her salary. Dave and I dig into how much she's getting paid and why. My iPhone doesn't connect to my new truck using CarPlay, so I can't use Maps or Apple Music. This forced me into getting a subscription to Spotify and it has some really cool features. We are all looking (cautiously) forward to AI, but some of the new products are really bad. We take a look at one of them.
