If you've opened up Apple TV lately, you know that all you can see is ads for Lionel Messi—everywhere. Apple has even put Messi ads in the Movies tabs of the app. There's no doubt that he's the world's best player and Apple is doing everything they can to promote MLS, but maybe they can tone it down a bit. Dave and I also talk about the Vision Pro App Store and how important that will be going forward. Elon Musk changed the name of Twitter to X—does that make any sense at all?

This week, Dave and I take a look at some of the changes in iOS 17 Messages and what users can expect in the app. We also talk about a movie short from Apple called "The Underdogs" and some issues Dave has with it. Apple provided customers with a list of States that are having tax holidays, and a letter was posted online from Steve Jobs offering someone a job in 1989.

It's been hot in Texas and other parts of the U.S. recently—Dave and I talk about how it's affecting me. We also talk about how Apple is still changing song versions on playlists that we make, as well as confirming a fix for the HomePod mini dropping sound while playing music. Finally, we take a look at social media—with the release of Threads, it seems like something has to give in the social media industry, but what?
