Apple increased the price of its services this week, including Apple Music, Apple TV+, and all if its Apple One bundles. Dave and I run through the new prices and how much you can expect to pay moving forward. Dave has been using a new macOS Ventura feature called Stage Manager. We talk about that and how it differs from similar features Apple has released in the past. We also look at what the "Stick Man" does in a hockey game and how important he is to the players.

It was a big week for iPad lovers as Apple introduced two new devices, one entry-level and one iPad Pro. The problem seems to be that there is some confusion with the lower-end model receiving features that many expected to be in the pro version. Dave and I also talk about the new Apple TV and a really good Apple Watch Ultra commercial.

This week, Dave and I talk about how one airline banned the use of AirTags in luggage—or did they? It seems they flip-flopped a little bit on this as the week went on. We also discuss some of the new features available on the upcoming iOS 16.1 release, and Dave has an update on his AirPods Pro, as well as a charging trick he found.

Dave got his new AirPods Pro this week, so we take some time to go through the features and see what he thinks. Have you ever thought of the Apple Watch Ultra as a pickup truck? Me neither, but this has to be one of the greatest anologies I've heard in a long time. Joanna Stern takes the iPhone in a unique setting to test the crash test detection.
