Rene Ritchie has moved on from his YouTube channel to take a job with Google. Apple Music Sessions kicked off in Nashville with some country artists leading the way in the services new feature. Dave and I talk about some controversy with the M1 and M2 Macs, and Apple Arcade is getting rid of some of the first companies to offer games for the service.

Apple announced that its showed have been nominated for 52 Emmy Awards with Ted Lasso leading the way. One of its new shows, Severance, also had a good showing with 14 nominations. Apple is rumored to be in the lead to take over broadcasting rights for the NFL and could also be looking at the UEFA Champions League in Europe. There are new rumors of an Apple Watch Pro—Dave and I take a look at that and what it could mean for users.

Dave had a bit of a scare this week when his Apple Watch alerted him to a low heart rate. We talk a bit about that and the Apple Watch. Apple's newly introduced MacBook Air M2 is available to order on Friday, and Apple released new betas of its operating systems. One of the new features is called Lockdown Mode which allows users that need it to further secure their iPhones.
